Cassette Crazy!

Since I had the dinocassettes out the other day I figured I would go ahead and get some pictures of all of my cassettes together. Oddly enough, when you add the dinocassettes in the mix it perfectly balances out the Autobot and Decepticon teams. It is too bad cassettes aren't really around anymore, I would love some more in the Generations/United releases (other than Ravage of course).
All the cassettes!

All the backs!

All robot/animal modes.

Autobots only.

Decepticons only.

There must be a meteor coming.

Dinosaurs! Alt modes.

All the combiners.

Robots in disguise.
If you don't own any cassettes, get as many as you can, these are fun little toys.

  1. Much props on the collection. Nice pics. Especially love the group pic of them transformed. Never noticed they balanced out, when excluding all the later repaints and reissues.

  2. Thanks! I think the cassettes were some of the most innovative transformers because they required the designers to work within limits. If G1 had continued I think we could have gotten quite a few more very cool designs.

  3. Very nice! Thanks for taking the time to take photos of all of them together (something I am as usual, too lazy to do and therefore can't see them in their full group glory!).

  4. Hope you don't mind me sharing these:

    WIP Cassette Collection:

List of all Known Cassette Variants (I'm sure I'm missing a few):

  5. @ HD: Thanks, I really need to do groups more often; maybe for some future posts!

@Mellowmut: Wow, that is an extensive list! I had no idea there were so many variants, thanks for sharing!

  6. Great collection and review. Here is my cassettes with custom cards.

  7. i wish i can have on of those
